As a Primary Tutor at Metanoia Institute in London for students of Gestalt Psychotherapy I have developed a growing interest in supporting fellow psychotherapists, counsellors, social workers and coaches to explore the phenomenological exploration of self support and relational support through movement.
Movement is our first language and we learn how to get our needs for survival met through our bodies. As we mature our communication and knowing becomes more complex and often we lose touch with how we or others use this language.
These workshops explore phenomenological exploration of our experience of our existence in the world around us experientially and draws from the work of Ruella Frank Phd. Exploring what movement there is provides amazing information about ourselves and informs our work with clients and patients relationally.
